While I’m acutely aware of our overuse of adjectives (especially on Twitter, where everything is a brilliantly awesomely stunning list of the 35 best CSS techniques) here on the Internets, I’ve got full belief in the fact that this talk is amazing.

In short, teach our children about food—we’ll be a better, healthier and smarter society. My kids will know, and I want to share it with every one of you.

The Wearable Internet Makes the iPhone Look Like a Toy

And further demonstrates my love for TED and the genius people who speak there. The idea of being able to make it even easier to learn about products you’re purchasing, take photos among a myriad of other benefits just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Reservation: not into the idea of putting a chip into my brain as stated at the end of this talk. It short circuits enough on its own.

Do Schools Kill Creativity?

I’d say it’s fairly safe to say I have a love affair with Ted.Com.  There are so many great ideas and discussions that sprout after watching these videos, I’m considering making it a daily event for me.

This video is a a really fantastic—and a little humorous—look at how we’re shaped into thinking linearly and steered further away from creative thinking as we progress through school.  Do enjoy!

My Stroke of Insight

I just saw this amazing video of a brain scientist who studied strokes—and happened to live through one herself.  It’s a great story with lots of insight and ideas; it’s certainly worth the time you spend watching it.
