Last week I discovered the album cover project where you find a random Wikipedia article, random quote and a photo from Flickr’s Explore and put them together into an album cover. I made one and loved the idea—I thought it would be a great creative exercise to do every day. So every day last week I made one album cover a day, and gave myself 15 minutes to do it. I’ve updated my Flickr to show some photos from my good friends Hans and Christyn’s wedding! Â Highlights include me capturing a mob fight with the groomsmen (it was friendly!), earning the title of “photo ninja,” and generally sweating to death in such hot weather. I’m back from gorgeous California! We had an amazing time, and I took lots and lots of photos. This one’s from Big Sur, a freaking beautiful beach. I hear it’s been in lots of movies, and I can really understand why. It was breathtaking.
I also saw the new Indiana Jones movie. It was pretty fun, with a few minor outlying little things. I kept hearing that it dealt with Scientology, and can now see what everyone was saying about that. It still was good, so I’d say go watch!
Regardless of whether you’re for, against, or apathetic about Obama, I’ve seen this image floating around recently and wanted to bring something to light about this photo where he’s answering the phone: Â it’s a fake. Â And as far as this Photoshop nerd is concerned, it’s a pretty poor fake.
