Here’s last night’s episode of The Office from Hulu in case you missed it. Â Jaw dropping awesomeness!

The Dinner Party

Friday, April 11th, 2008

My head almost exploded it was so hilarious! Â I’m so glad it’s back on the air.

Here it is from Hulu in case you missed it. Â Which you shouldn’t have, but I forgive you if you did.

Flickr Does Video!

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Totally awesome turn of events: Â you can now post your videos to your stream and show them off with all the neato interaction and community Flickr has. Â See above video of my two favorite wizards for reference.

I’m not a video guy mostly; however, given the chance (and a camera) I’d go nuts. Â

Their servers were getting hammered when I saw it, but I’m sure it’s better now. Â Check it out!

New Hillmancurtis Film: Sagmeister!

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Stefan Sagmeister as a designer has work I have admired for quite some time. Â It wasn’t until I started listening to some great design podcasts with Debbie Millman (also in the film) that I became more and more interested in him. Â I was also fortunate enough to hear him lecture.

The new film talks a lot about his latest book “Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far,” which is chock full of good bits for designers—and non-designers.  I’ve always liked hc’s films on the big designers, they’re always shot so well, and never seem to be anything but great.  It’s definitely worth a look, check it out!

Probably the most expensive April Fool’s joke I’ve ever seen. Â And the game nerd in me wishes it were for real!

Blade Runner

Sunday, March 23rd, 2008

Last night I saw Blade Runner for the first time. Â It wasn’t too bad, but I expected it to be a pee-yourself-silly-it’s-so-good masterpiece from Ridley Scott after all the great things I’ve heard (which it was not). Â Did I miss something? Â Someone please explain this to me.

Also, I believe Harrison Ford pretty much plays the same character in every movie, with only a different name and job. Â The “I am so good, I really don’t care a thing about who you are or what you do, just get me a drink” guy. Â That’s fine, because he rules. Â But does anyone else notice that?Â
