Cooliris is cool

I’ve discovered this fabulous plugin called Cooliris, and have spent endless amounts of time toying with it. It’s a browser plugin that allows you to scroll through and view lots of images in a gorgeous, interactive 3D wall. Being an image and usability nerd, I’m really impressed with how it works and how simple it is to use.

You can launch a Google Image Search, browse Flickr, Facebook and lots of other websites. You can even enable your own site if you’d like. I personally was very happy to find that out, and am going to be including that in my upcoming relaunch.

Cooliris is free and works with Firefox, Safari and yes, Internet Explorer. They even have an iPhone application! So you literally have no excuse for not getting it and enjoying a new way of browsing the web.

Go have a look around their site.

  • It totally is!

I used PicLens a while back, it was pretty cool but not a lot of sites were enabled. Now that they've got the potential to enable any site, I'm lots more excited about it.

Yea, I've been using cooliris for a little while too. Brandon showed it to me. I think it was called PicLens. It's pretty awesome.
