Do Schools Kill Creativity?

I’d say it’s fairly safe to say I have a love affair with Ted.Com.  There are so many great ideas and discussions that sprout after watching these videos, I’m considering making it a daily event for me.

This video is a a really fantastic—and a little humorous—look at how we’re shaped into thinking linearly and steered further away from creative thinking as we progress through school.  Do enjoy!

This was an excellent video! And this is exactly why we homeschool. Have ever told you that Daniel learned how to add by running around the house. His mind kept the knowledge best when he was moving. Schools, where kids sit all day and wait, are not designed for kids! Thanks for the intro to TED, I am enjoying it!
