Regardless of whether you’re for, against, or apathetic about Obama, I’ve seen this image floating around recently and wanted to bring something to light about this photo where he’s answering the phone: it’s a fake. And as far as this Photoshop nerd is concerned, it’s a pretty poor fake.

How you can spot the fake:
- Look closely at his sleeve where the phone cord used to be, and you’ll see a slight bump where someone brushed out the phone cord.
- Look at the wall, you’ll find the clock it set to 3am, and in the original there actually isn’t a clock to begin with, nor do the lack of shadows around it make it look real at all.
Shame on you bad Photoshoppers! :)
